All Parents become T.U.P.A.C. Parent Guild Association (PGA) members upon registration of their students. T.U.P.A.C. believes your support of our YDP students by assisting us in providing quality dance education in your child's lives is paramount to the success of our school. There are many opportunities for parents to share their experience and support your children at T.U.P.A.C. "Where Classical Ballet Legends Are Trained!" We need your help to make T.U.P.A.C.’s The Urban Nutcracker a success. We need your expertise, artistry and enthusiasm in the following areas:
On Stage: Party Goers, Moms & Dads we really need you for the Party Scene: Think 1980’s!
Stage Hands (3) - assist with moving stage sets on & off stage
Property Hands (2) - passing out, quick repair and retrieving props
Wardrobe Assistants (4) – steaming costumes, placing costumes on wardrobe racks, and in Quick Change areas, assisting dancers in & out of costumes, quick costume/shoe repair. Accounting for All costumes before, during and after performances.
Makeup & Hair (6) – assist with makeup and hair
Front of House:
Box Office (2) – Sell walk-up tickets, disperse Will Call tkts
Ticket Takers (2) – Scan tickets at door leading into theatre
Ushers (4) – Hand out programs, assist patrons to their seats
Concessions (3) – Sell beverages & snacks in Lobby before performance and at intermission
Bartender (2) – MUST have valid Class 12 Mixologist Permit
We will need the following positions on the following dates and times:
Wardrobe Assistants: November 18, 19, 20 after 6:00 pm
November 26, 27, 28 after 6:00 pm, November 29: 5:30 pm
November 30: 5:30 pm December 1: 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm 5:30 pm – 9:45 pm, December 2, 1:30 pm
Stage Hands & Property Hands: November 28th, 6:00 pm, November 29th Load In: 5:00 pm, November 30th, 4:30 pm, Dec 1st 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm 5:30 pm -9:30 pm
Makeup & Hair: 1 hour before each performance
All Front of House: 1 hour before each performance.
We will also be sending out emails asking for various set & prop pieces!
